Maha AI Olympiad
State-scale AI literacy for school students
An AI literacy programme and learning platform built with Balbharati for students in classes 6 to 10 — a 24-week curriculum with the platform, content, and assessment delivered as one system.
Teaching AI at state scale is not a content problem, it is a delivery problem. A curriculum has to reach hundreds of schools with uneven connectivity, teachers who are learning the material alongside their students, and an assessment layer that works the same way in every district.
Maha AI Olympiad is that delivery system. Built with Balbharati, it carries a 24-week AI curriculum for classes 6 to 10 across roughly 200 schools, starting in the Wardha and Nashik districts. The platform handles enrolment, sequenced content release, teacher tooling, and olympiad-style assessment, so a district coordinator manages a programme rather than a spreadsheet.
